This course teaches participants the fundamentals of reviewing and issuing a range of work permits including permits to conduct hot work, confined space entry, isolation, penetration/excavation and general work permits. Key areas discussed and covered are the purpose of work permits, roles and responsibilities, non-compliances with permit conditions, record keeping and finalising and closing off a permit.

This course is ideal for those whom are issuing permits as well as those working under the permit system including safety officers, supervisors and all operational personnel.
